1. Review, using your Perrine Literature text the following terms: point of view; tone; sound devices: alliteration; consonance; rhyme; repetition (write out definitions); onomatopoeia; meter; iambic pentameter.(Write out brief definitions)
2. Finish The Stranger. Complete and print another Reading Reaction Record.
3. Finish The Kite Runner ?(if you havent already done so!)
4. Complete the Multiple Choice Practice on the Two Poems.
5. On Monday, bring "The Century Quilt"; and The Stranger.
I should not have to direct you to organizing your returned assignments, journals, summer reading, soaps, notes for the novels read in for this class: Chronicle of A Death Foretold; The Oedipus Cycle; The Piano Lesson; The Fall of Rome; The Kite Runner; The Stranger; Your Throwback re-read. Gather assignments for each text and place in different folders; or a notebook with dividers. Begin re-reading and reviewing journals for the Open Question. Review the powerpoint for the Open question.
