1. Check Schoology for a warm-up about a culturally sensitive topic. Upload your response today by 02:20 pm/. 2. Continue viewing Oedipus. Alessandra may start and stop the video at key parts.  We began at 53:00 minutes. 3. Homework: You know that 4 journals are due weekly. I will collect those four journals this THURSDAY since I am in the library working with teachers.

Agenda periods 4, 5, 6

 Remember our Friday Routine: Journal Writing, followed by Lit Circle Group Meetings and then Silent Novel Reading. 

Period 4, answer exercise #2 on Subjective versus Objective Writing Packet.  All classes: dont forget 4 new journal entries due Monday from your novel. Period 6, you will have a total of 12 entries due (this includes previous ones).  

Period 5-Dont forget your model of poem, "Girl in Doorway" due Tuesday.

Today after silent reading of your novel, and 13 minutes to meet with your Literature Circle Group, you will have a silent/independent work session.  During this time, you may: 1. Re-read the Opening of Oedipus Red 2. Complete the Google Form, "How Much Do I Know About Greek Tragedy?" 3. Prepare for your independent reading quiz on the basics of your World Lit Independent Reading Novel 4. Upload your Role Sheet 5. Continue to Read 6. Work on something silently for another class.
