1. Complete the Practice AP English Literature Exam. In the margin of your text, next to a prose passage or poem, I need to see a miniature DIDLS or TWIST or SIFT strategy based on the type of passage (prose or poetry). Try to time yourself. You must underline or mark each of the passages in the practice test!!!!
2. Continue and finish reading Chapter 1 of The Stranger. Reading Quiz for ALL on Chapter 1 on Monday. Those who were in class on Thursday will teach aspects to those who were not. Question to answer: How is Mersault unlike any character you have met in a literary text before?
3. Now, use either your SIFT handout (white) or your TWIST handout (orangish) to read the prose passage THAT IS ON THE BACK OF THE PROSE passage about Work (older prose passages). Use that passage and fully complete a SIFT or TWIST analysis. All of the boxes should be filled out.
If you can not find or turned in the prose passage, then complete the SIFTS or TWIST strategy handout using the XIV poem by Derek Walcott or one of the Passages in your Multiple Choice Exam.
4. Read your Literary Term Packet that was given to you. Mondays quiz will include five random but not so random literary terms!!!
