1. Carefully read and take notes on what you read from your Perrine Literature Text; pages 647-654; and pages 668-669. Both chapters are about poetry, the reading of Poetry; and the devices analyzed to better understand poetry.
Reflect: What is your favorite poem? Why? Be able to identify the poem by author and title. How did reading the sections above on poetry enhance your understanding? What was the most important line or segment of your reading (The Perrine Text).
2. From where ever you are, read two chapters of The Stranger. Expect a brief (I mean it this time) quiz on Part 2 chapters 1-2 ish.
