Summarize his thoughts about her and her actions. 3. How can we tell that Goneril is not attracted to her husband? What does she say or call him? 4. Explain the irony that dominates the following lines uttered by Lear upon seeing Gloucester: “GLOUCESTER: Dost thou know me? LEAR: I remember thine eyes well enough.
