Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year! I hope we have a wonderfully, engaging school year! I use this blog to share many things with you: homework, handouts, rubrics, and resources. I created this blog BEFORE Schoology so there are many resources here that may not be on Schoology. There are resources in Schoology that are not here. Be nimble, flexible and use tools to increase communication and most importantly understanding of the content. Let's get it y'all! Your Teacher, Ms. Guy

Is The Color Line Still the Issue of Our Time? Expository Composition period 5/6
1. Each week, you are required to find and read two articles from the Digital Library or the Internet that will support the stance on your research essay. You must read and print out the article, and submit a research SOAPS Sheet each Friday. You will then use the graded and scored SOAPS as a tool to insert evidence to prove your claim is valid in your argumentative essay. Tools: Google Scholar; The Huffington Post; NPR; journals and articles from the Digital Library Resources. I will check the first article + SOAPS on Friday.
