The Testing Season is upon us and it is time to apply the reading, writing, and listening skills used all year long in order to successfully complete the Smarter Balanced Exam. The exam is important for you and our school, and requires academic stamina, and practice in reading a variety of texts, analysis characters, using context clues to understand words and ideas; writing for a variety of audiences; quoting correctly, using proper punctuation marks and recognizing literary techniques and sentence techniques. This week and next week I will reteach/review elements to prepare us for the Exam.
We will also write a Performance Task to also prepare us.
