Creative Writing. Using the passage from Paradise by Toni Morrison as a model, think of an abstract concept (love) that you would like to make concrete by use of metaphor. Compose a response in which you state that your abstraction is something concrete. Also attempt to use the conventions that Mrs. Morrison uses in her example: antithesis (balanced opposites); parallelism achieved through repetition--alliteration; anaphora.
