Exploring Sources of Family Conflict
Today, you will do some individual research and investigation to learn more about the cases alluded to in her essay, "Are Families Dangerous?". You will do a wikipedia search of any two of the following cases: Menendez Brothers; OJ Simpson Murder Trial; Polly Klass Murder; Lorena Bobbit violence. Use the reflective journal to record what you did, what you learn, how it is applicable to literature or supports "Are Families Dangerous?"
Then, we will explore types of family dysfunction, specifically that of Sibling Rivalry and Parental Favorites.
