1. Continue your brainstorm for your "Modelling Shakespeare's Language" by selecting 1 of three speech Acts made by Edmund in Act I.ii (Thou Nature; This policy; or This is the Excellent Foppery of the World.) Then continue to brainstorm an idea or custom that irks (bothers) you. Then using Edmund's language, try your hand at developing an expose, or "rant" against that custom or tradition that you find limiting or bothersome. This is a first draft.
2. Assume the persona of the Palace Psychologist or Counselor and use a quote from your misunderstanding grid (Open Mind). Then, compose a letter integrating unit vocabulary and Shakespearean language (thee, thou, thine, etc.) in which you offer advise based on the misunderstanding and how it may impact relationships with characters in the text.
3. Give Act I a name, as well as scene II
4. Finally, complete your SOAPS, and your Literature Circle Role Sheet and Journals (3 of them).
