Tomorrow or Wednesday, I will attempt to frame a discussion about the characters and situations in the novel, The Fall of Rome. To prepare for the discussion and group work, ALL students must read: Why We Read Literature, hyperlinked on the blog. Read it more than once!
2. Then, we will use the article, your understanding of the characters, events, actions, in The Fall of Rome to approach our character analysis/juxtaposition essays differently.
For period 5: We will revisit the poem, "We Wear The Mask" tomorrow and the partner SOAPS.
Both classes: yes, you will have Thanksgiving Assignments. They will be creative--so find your crayons, colored pencils, pastels, materials now!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year! I hope we have a wonderfully, engaging school year! I use this blog to share many things with you: homework, handouts, rubrics, and resources. I created this blog BEFORE Schoology so there are many resources here that may not be on Schoology. There are resources in Schoology that are not here. Be nimble, flexible and use tools to increase communication and most importantly understanding of the content. Let's get it y'all! Your Teacher, Ms. Guy
