Objectives: To learn more & identify 6-8 domains of Expository Reading & Writing. To explore our online text: Patterns For College Writing (hyperlinked under Classroom Handouts). To gain exposure to the rubric used to score reading and writing (see qr scan code) & score student SOAPS Analysis. To explore sources for our own Independent Reading and Writing Routines and SOAPS Analysis. To learn to write an academic summary & to identify expository paragraphs. To identify issues and concerns of social justice that can be a springboard for our reading and writing.
