1. Reminder on Wednesday, December 15, 2017, you will have a short exam on the themes and characters of Does My Head Look Big In This? and 4-5 short response questions about the novel.
2. Also, remember that you will meet in your literature circle groups as well on Wednesday.
3. You are also completing a write like, in which you identify ten or more categories (teachers; or grades; or hairstyles; something) Then reflect on a pivotal moment in each of these grades, Write about them as if the action or event was happening. Then, in a short statement, what was the lesson learned in each grade, or at each stage? This is modelled after Indian Education by Sherman Alexie.
4. Lastly, you will write an in-class essay, on our essential question: Do People Need to Belong? You may consult any of the articles, and texts used, so be sure to bring them to class on Wednesday.
